Join this camp where you will be creating a live-action short film and stop-motion animated movie! 9am to 12pm is Lights, Camera, Action! where students will learn how to write and storyboard ideas for a live action short film. Next, kids will organize props, secure needed costumes, and venture out to scout for the perfect location. Once complete... Filming begins! 12pm to 3pm, it’s time for Lego Star Wars where students will use Lego building blocks and mini-figures to cast in a Star Wars themed animated movie! The ideas are yours, you will build the sets and operate the provided iPods to bring your masterpiece to the big screen. Whether it’s a re-creation of your favorite Star Wars movie or a unique adventure in another galaxy, this camp is the ultimate chance to bring your own live-action and animated movies to the big screen! All projects will be professionally edited and available for download online.
